The research group on Pattern Analysis and Intelligent Systems is interested in:

- theoretical research at the frontier of Pattern Analysis and Intelligent Systems. In particular, we have an interest in the foundational principles enabling and limiting the ability to discover reliable patterns in data.

- applying these principles where data is abundant, such as on the web, and in computational genomics.
